If you love Swiss cheese and chocolate, this Gruyères Tour from Lausanne is a must-do! Visit one of the most beautiful medieval villages in Switzerland.
Gruyères Tour
At the scheduled time, we will depart from Route de Berne 144 in Lausanne and make our way to one of the most famous Swiss chocolate factories: Maison Cailler.
Arriving at Maison Callier, which is located in the village of Broc, we'll learn how chocolate is made and you'll of course get to taste different chocolate products made here.
After a tour of the factory, we'll head to the Maison du Gruyères: a factory-museum where we'll discover the secrets of one of Switzerland's most famous cheeses. Gruyères cheese, which is made with fresh local milk, is also registered as a Protected Designation of Origin.
We'll continue our route through the beautiful Swiss countryside, admiring the lush green fields dotted with alpine cows. We'll then make a stop in the beautiful medieval village of Gruyères. You'll have about two hours free to get some lunch and stroll around this picturesque town, located in the canton of Fribourg.
In the afternoon, we'll drive through the mountain area of Le Moléson before making our way back to Lausanne. We'll be back at the original departure point between 5:15 pm and 5:45 pm.
