Lublin Private Tour
At 9 am, we'll meet at the Union Monument to start our private tour of Lublin.
Here, we'll first talk about the Union of Lublin and the significance it had for the Kingdom of Poland and the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, this pact being the forerunner of European democracy.
Our next stop will be the Krakow Gate, one of the 15th-century entrances to the city walls. We'll also visit the market square, surrounded by medieval buildings, and the Town Hall erected right in the middle of it.
We'll continue our tour towards the Dominican church, a Gothic and Renaissance jewel, and one of the first Baroque temples in Poland: the Cathedral of Saints John the Baptist and John the Evangelist. Take a good look at the imposing columns on its façade, they're really something!
Afterward, we'll admire the Lublin Castle, a majestic stronghold that is one of the oldest royal residences in Poland. There, we'll learn the ins and outs and many legends surrounding its prison.
It's here at this last location that we'll end the tour at 12 pm.
