Belleville Neighborhood Food Tour
We'll start our food tour through the Belleville neighborhood at the indicated time by meeting at Saint-Jean-Baptiste Church.
After a brief introduction to this bohemian district of Paris, located very close to the Père Lachaise cemetery, we'll start our gastronomic tour with a coffee and typical pastries called chouquettes in a traditional Belleville bistro. You will then enjoy a chocolate tasting in a boutique specializing in cocoa.
The tour continues at a classic boulangerie. Here we'll see how baguettes and croissants are made, which of course we'll also taste. Depending on the weather, we'll visit a traditional butcher's shop and have lunch with a drink in the Parc de Belleville, or go to a bistro to enjoy a French apéritif accompanied by charcuterie.
We'll also take a stroll through the Jourdain district, one of the most picturesque areas of the district, where we'll visit a popular brasserie, where we'll have a glass of French wine paired with different cheeses.
As we wrap up our flavor-packed tour, we'll enjoy a typical French dessert called financier. After 3 hours of good food, we'll bring our tour to a close near the Couronnes metro station.
