Aysen Communities Tour
At the indicated time, meet us at Hotel Loberias del Sur in Puerto Chacabuco, and we'll set off headed north. We'll traverse the scenic roads and take in the charm of the main pueblos in Aysen, an exceptionally beautiful region within Chilean Patagonia.
After a brief 15-minute journey, our first destination will bring us to Puerto Aysen. Here, we'll delve into the history of the colonization of this secluded southern region of Chile, tucked between the Andes and the Pacific. As we explore, we'll also catch sight of the Presidente Ibáñez Bridge spanning the Aysen River.
We'll continue uncovering the Aysen region as we head to Villa Mañihuales, a delightful rural town offering insights into gaucho traditions. Following this cultural immersion, our journey takes us to the Lake Las Torres viewpoint, where we can enjoy a cup of coffee while taking in the breathtaking scenery before us.
Once we've taken in the full breadth of these incredible panoramic views, we'll continue along our route through Aysen and reach the Puerto Cisnes community. Here, we'll stop at Finesterra bar to enjoy an excellent meal of artisanal pizza and beer. What better pairing is there? Once we've filled our energy tanks, we'll head our for a short walk to enjoy the town's traditional architecture.
From Puerto Cisnes, we'll return to the meeting point in Puerto Chacabuco, after 11.5 hours of adventure.
