Quito Museums Tour
Between 8 and 8:30 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Quito and set off on our tour of the main museums in Ecuador's capital. Let's go!
To begin, we'll visit the Chapel of Man Museum, which was the final and most significant project of the artist Oswaldo Guayasamín. This museum houses a large collection of paintings and murals that invites visitors to reflect on the history of Latin America. You'll see works of art that reflect the world and the continent's pre-Columbian cultures.
The next stop on our tour of Quito's museums will be the Casa del Alabado, the city's most important Pre-Columbian art museum. In this former colonial residence, you'll see over 5,000 archaeological pieces from the four regions of present-day Ecuador.
Our tour will finish with the City Museum, which is the perfect place to learn about Quito's history and socio-cultural customs. We'll also share some fun facts about the locals' way of life in this museum.
We'll then take you back to your hotel and drop you off between 1 and 1:30 pm.
Pickup
This tour includes pickup from hotels in the Mariscal area. If you're staying outside this area, we'll meet up at the Holiday Inn.
