Options
When making your booking, you'll be able to choose between the following three options:
Tour without Lunch + Standard Tasting (3 hours)
Located on the outskirts of San Miguel del Morro, the Dos Hemisferios Winery is one of the most well-known centres for wine tourism in the south of Ecuador. At the scheduled time, we'll begin the guided tour at the main entrance to the winery.
We'll first visit the winery's vineyards, where we'll discover the different types of grapes that are grown in this area of Ecuador. In addition, during the tour, we'll hear about the history of the company and learn about the phases that are involved in the wine-making process. With these vineyards, tradition and modernity are combined to produce excellent wines.
The tour will continue inside the winery, where we'll see the barrels where the wines are kept. In addition, we'll discover the type of wood that is used in each barrel, since different types of wines are aged in different barrels.
We'll bring this tour to an end after 3 hours in total with a tasting of 4 Ecuadorian wines produced at the Dos Hemisferios Winery. We'll try the following varieties: Bruma Sauvignon, Enigma, Travesía Cabernet Sauvignon and Paradoja. These wines will also be matched with some local aperitifs.
Tour with Lunch + Premium Tasting (7 hours)
With this option, we'll follow the same itinerary as the prior option. We'll also enjoy a lunch made up of three dishes, whose menu varies depending on availability and the season. The Premium wine tasting is made up of a tasting of Bruma Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Enigma, Travesía Cabernet Sauvignon and Paradoja.
Tour with Lunch + Ultrapremium Tasting (7 hours)
If you choose this option, we'll take the same guided visit and lunch as the prior option. The big difference is that this tasting is the Ultrapremium one, where we'll try the following wines: Enigma, Paradoja, Cautivo and Tomás Carlos.
