When booking your visit to Château Haut Breton Larigaudière, you can choose one of the following options.
Winery Visit + Tasting of 3 Wines
Located north of Margaux, a famous wine-growing town on the outskirts of Bordeaux, the Château Haut-Breton Larigaudière is a historic Médoc estate dating back to the end of the 18th century. It covers a total of 15 hectares (37 acres) of vineyards, growing the most emblematic varieties of the region: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot.
Today, it's a prestigious family winery that has belonged to the De Schepper family since 1964. We'll start the visit by learning about the history of this winemaking family, and then we'll go inside the winery, where we'll see the barrel room.
During the tour, we'll learn how the local grapes are cultivated and discover the production stages of the wines of the Gironde, undoubtedly one of the main oenological reference points in France.
After a 30-minute visit, we'll conclude the activity with a tasting of 3 wines from the Bordeaux Supérieur appellation: a white, a rosé and a red.
Winery & Vineyard Visit + Tasting of 4 Wines
In this hour-long experience, we'll visit the winery's facilities, as well as its vineyards, where we'll learn a lot of interesting facts about the traditional terroirs of this area of France. We'll conclude the visit with a tasting of 4 wines.
Winery Visit + Tasting of 4 Premium Wines
If you opt for this option, we'll make the same visit as the first option and, in addition, we'll enjoy a tasting of 4 premium wines, including outstanding varieties such as Château Haut-Breton Larigaudière, Trianon de Larigaudière or Le Créateur.
