Tour Details
At the indicated time, we'll meet at Calle de la Paz and, once we're all together, we'll begin this guided tour of the Alcázar of Toledo, home to the Museum of the Army in Spain since 2009.
Once inside this important monument, we'll see ancient military objects such as uniforms, cannons and other historical artefacts.
We'll also see an ancient cistern with two thousand years of history, the walls of the Arab Alcázar and the remains of a 14th-century tower. Thanks to the images and explanatory panels in the enclosure, you'll also be able to imagine what the Alcázar was like during its different periods: a Roman praetorium, an Islamic fortress and an ancient palace that was destroyed in the 16th century to build a new Renaissance palace.
At the end of the tour, we'll finish this 1.5-hour guided visit.
