Set off on an unforgettable boat trip on Lake Grey in this beautiful part of the Torres del Paine National Park. You'll also get to see the beach and the glacier found next to the lake.
Grey Lake Boat Trip + Beach & Glacier Visit
At 12 noon, we'll see you at the Hotel Lago Grey and, from there, travel to the Pingo riverbed by minibus. From here, we'll go on a 40-minute walk to the shores of Grey Beach, located on the shores of the lake of the same name. This spot is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful places in the Torres del Paine National Park.
When you reach the beach, a comfortable catamaran will be waiting for us. We'll then board the boat and set sail on Lake Grey. From the outside deck of the ship, you'll be able to take lots of photos of the breathtaking Chilean Patagonia, a breathtaking South American natural area surrounded by mountains.
We'll continue our trip around Lake Grey and explore some other areas. As we make our way through the lake, you'll admire incredible views of the Torres del Paine National Park. Its captivating natural landscapes tend to amaze and enthrall all who visit.
Finally, we'll return to Grey Beach at 3:45 pm. From there, you'll make your own way back on foot to the Hotel Lago Grey, arriving at 4:30 pm.

Grey Beach to Refugio Grey
- Check-in at 9 am, departure at 10 am, arrival at Refugio Grey at 10:45 am.
- Check-in at 12 noon, departure at 1 pm, arrival at Refugio Grey at 1:45 pm.
- Check-in at 3 pm, departure at 4 pm, arrival at Refugio Grey at 5:30 pm.
Refugio Grey to Grey Beach
- Departure at 11 am, arrival at Grey Beach at 12:45 pm.
- Departure at 2 pm, arrival at Grey Beach at 3:45 pm.
- Departure at 5:45 pm, arrival at Grey Beach at 6:45 pm.
What's the boat like?
The river crossing will take place on the Grey III catamaran. This boat has a main cabin with a capacity of 98 passengers. It also has an open-air deck from which you can admire the beautiful scenery of the Torres del Paine National Park.
During the boat trip, you'll be served a typical Chilean drink called pisco sour.
Boat between Hotel Lago Grey and Refugio Grey
If you'd prefer, you can book the ticket for the boat between Hotel Lago Grey and the Refugio Grey. In this case, the route will vary depending on the starting point.
