Discover the impressive Alerce Costero National Park on this day trip from Valdivia, where you can admire the majesty of the thousand-year-old alerce trees!
Description
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Valdivia to start this excursion to the Alerce Costero National Park. We'll start the adventure by boarding a boat to the town of Corral. Are you ready?
During the 30-minute trip, we'll talk to you about the flora and fauna species that can be found in Alerce Costero. The undisputed protagonist is the alerce, a thousand-year-old tree that we'll see up close on the Renovales de Alerce trail. Did you know that it's one of the longest-living trees in the world? We'll reveal all its secrets!
On our tour, we'll walk along 3 trails in total. 2 of them are inside the national park, and the third one is at the Chaihuín beach. On the latter, we'll have a picnic that includes typical products, as well as biscuits and nuts, while we enjoy spectacular views of the Pacific.
After this break, we'll return to the boat to go back to Corral. From there, we'll drive to your hotel in Valdivia. We'll bring the day trip to an end after between 9 and 11 hours.
