Day Trip Details
At the scheduled time, we’ll meet at 15 Gerhard-Bronner-Straße, and from there we’ll set off on this day trip through the stunning landscapes of Upper Austria. Let’s go!
After approximately 4.5 hours of travel, we’ll arrive in the city of Salzburg, the jewel of the Baroque era, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You can stroll through the Mirabell Gardens and cross the Salzach River, passing by the iconic Hotel Sacher.
Don't miss Mozart’s Birthplace and the majestic Salzburg Cathedral. To complete your visit to Salzburg, you can head to Kapitelsplatz, at the foot of Hohensalzburg Fortress.
After exploring Salzburg and having lunch on your own at its restaurants, we'll travel to Hallstatt, a picturesque village nestled among the mountains and on the shores of Lake Hallstätter See. Here, the Marktplatz and its iconic church await. And, of course, we’ll take you to the viewpoint where those postcard-perfect photos that have gone viral around the world are taken.
Then, you’ll have 1 hour of free time to stroll through its cobblestone streets and breathe in the fresh air of the Austrian Alps before heading back to Vienna.
Finally, back at the starting point, we’ll say our goodbyes after a total of 14 hours.
