When making your reservation, you'll have three different tour options to choose from:
Welcome to beautiful Wroclaw, the City of 100 Bridges! Meet your English speaking guide in front of the main entrance of the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, located in Ostrów Tumski, a former island and the oldest part of the city. After visiting this historic monument, which dates back to the 13th century, we'll set off to discover the surrounding streets of the city's picturesque medieval old town.
We'll cross the bridge over the Odra River into the city centre, where we'll make a stop at the University of Wroclaw, famous for its Aula Leopoldinum, an exquisitely decorated Baroque-style classroom. The tour will then continue through the cobbled streets of the old city centre, towards Wroclaw Market Square, one of the largest of its kind in Europe. You'll be enchanted by its old tenement houses and the Gothic Town Hall!
Please note: entry to the Aula Leopoldinum is 3.50EUR per person and the monument is closed to visitors on Wednesdays.
We'll pick you up from your hotel and set off to visit one of the symbols of Wroclaw, the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, located in Ostrów Tumski, whose name means "Cathedral Island" in Old Polish.
After walking along the banks of the Odra River, we'll climb up the so-called Polish Hill, where we'll enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of the historic city of Wroclaw. Don't forget your camera!
Not far from this viewpoint, we'll reach the Panorama of the Battle of Raclawice Museum, where you'll have the opportunity to see one of the largest 360 degree battle scenes ever painted. The cycloramic painting has become one of Poland's most emblematic national monuments.
We'll then have the chance to visit another of Poland's artistic treasures: the famous Aula Leopoldinum at the University of Wroclaw. Afterwards, we'll stroll through the city's medieval streets to the vast Market Square, where we'll get to admire the magnificent Gothic Town Hall amongst the other historic buildings surrounding it.
At the end of the tour, we'll take you back to your hotel in Wroclaw.
Please note: entry to the Panorama of the Battle of Raclawice Museum is 7.50EUR per person and the monument is closed to visitors on Mondays from October to April. Entry to the Aula Leopoldinum is 3.50EUR per person and the monument is closed to visitors on Wednesdays.
After meeting at your hotel, we'll head to the Jewish Quarter to learn about the centuries-long history and legacy that the Jewish community has left in Wroclaw.
During our tour, we'll see traces of the Jewish community that date back to the 12th century. We'll walk around Wroclaw's Old Town and learn how the Jewish population impacted this Polish city's socio-economic life. In addition, we'll discuss the tragic events suffered by many Jews during the Second World War.
We'll visit the White Stork Synagogue, which is also the Center for Jewish Culture and Education. As well as this, we'll see the Market Square, the Monument to the Heroes of the Warsaw Ghetto, famous Jewish Department Stores, the former Jewish Theatre and the Memorial to the Victims of the Kristallnacht.
The final stop on our tour will be the Old Jewish Cemetery, which has tombstones that are over 800 years old. We'll then take you back to your hotel and say our goodbyes.
Please note: Entry to the synagogue costs 3EUR per person, however the synagogue is currently closed. The entry fee to the Museum of Cemetery Art will cost 4EUR per person.
