First, we'll explain the city's origins and the natural events that have shaped it, such as the lava flow in 1669 and the disastrous earthquake in 1693 in the Val di Noto.
Afterward, we'll walk toward Piazza del Duomo and the Elephant Fountain. Catania's famous elephant, Liotru, awaits us! What legends are hidden behind this iconic animal? You'll find out on this tour!
We'll also visit the Catania Cathedral and the Town Hall courtyard, both guardians of the past and present memory of Agatha of Sicily, the patron saint of the town.
