We'll meet at the Puerto de Navacerrada Sky Resort at 9 am. Here, we'll provide you with the snowshoes and snow poles and explain how to use them to participate in the activity safely. After this brief explanation, you'll be ready to enjoy the snowy Sierra de Guardarrama (Guadarrama Mountains).
Geared up with our snowshoes and poles in hand, we'll start this 6.2-mile (10-kilometer) hike through the mountain's white scenery. We'll embark on the Schmid Trail and set off toward the Siete Picos (Seven Peaks). Mid-way through our hike, we'll make a brief stop to rest and admire the beautiful views. Don't forget to take a picture!
Afterward, we'll begin our journey back to the Puerto de Navacerrada Ski Resort. During the return journey, we'll also pass through pristine snow, which will feel soft and smooth. Finally, we'll reach the starting point at 2 pm.
